Yes, I’ve been obsessed with bees lately. More specifically, beehives in urban areas (they’re the new chickens, you know). Reading about a Montrealer who’s got an urban apiary only fueled my longing for sweet, sweet homemade honey. Maybe I could get this gorgeous cedar strip custom beehive ($999) from Vancouver Etsy vendor Steidlewave, put it on the roof of my apartment building? Maybe I can get my friendly neighbourhood carpenter to make one… or is it a sin to hide it away?
