Just for kicks, I decided to find the most expensive thing on Etsy. So, being a scientist, I simply searched for the letter ‘A’ and ranked the results from most to least expensive. Everything at the top cost $100,000 (wonder if there’s a cap set by Etsy) including the painting above, A Friend in Need Reproduction by mandyjsully (in fact, quite a few of the items in her shop are set at that price, though this one is only $10,500).

A friend in need, dogs playing poker, remade using only recycled items. Stella Artios bottles, caps, cans, and labels. Bella Sera corks, labels, and bottles. Also items relating to poker such as poker chips, cards and money. I am in the process of finishing this peice.
Huh. Okay. And she looks so perfectly nice and sane in her profile pic, smiling and hugging a dog. (I’m not trying to start, you know, a thing, but good gracious, woman. The balls!)
