As a kid I had a lava lamp, but I was never sure why. I guess it looked cool? I liked sitting around waiting for it to heat up?
Wish I’d had one of these: an LED Jellyfish Mood Lamp ($29.99), from Think Geek. Good for hippies, nerds, marine biologists and cool kids everywhere.
